½ cup cottage cheese
3 large eggs, separated
¼ tsp cream of tartar
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tsp honey or sugar (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Separate the eggs carefully into two bowls.
4. Whip egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
5. In another bowl, blend cottage cheese, yolks, baking powder, salt, and optional ingredients until smooth.
6. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the cheese mixture.
7. Scoop mixture onto baking sheet in fluffy mounds.
8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and puffed.
9. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Add herbs or cinnamon for flavor variations.
Let cool slowly in oven with door cracked to avoid deflation.
Store in airtight container in fridge for 2–3 days.
